We would
like to inform you, that today we are starting the preparation works for the
crane removal.
The entire
removal process will take longer, currently the preparations are in progress.
According to our prior expectations, if no unexpected event occurs, the
terminal service and capacity will be reset within a foreseeable time (expected
by the end of the next week).
Considering
the task to be performed, further temporary restrictions and possible operation
changes may be expected in the coming period. During the removal work our
primary consideration is safety and security.
We will do
our best, within our capacities to inform you in advance about the procedures,
but please note ad-hoc measures may also be taken.
We are
aware, that the current situation is extremely difficult for our customers and
for the entire business segment, just as it is a huge undertaking and challenge
for our terminal.
Our
colleagues are working to meet the needs and find suitable solution to the
problems considering the circumstances.

In connection with the yesterday’s event we can provide you with the following update.
An operating incident occured at our terminal, in which one of our gantry cranes was hit by a reachstacker. As a result of the collision the crane became statically unstable. Luckily no personal injury occured.
Terminal’s engineers and external specialists are constantly working on stabilizing the device and resolving the situation as soon as possible.
We will be able to provide You more information about the possible partial reopening and the further operation this afternoon after 2:00 p.m.
