Dear
Partners,
As we have
already informed you, due to an operational incident happened on 29th July
2020, the second gantry crane of the Terminal has been temporarily removed, so
currently the service is provided by a gantry crane in addition to our
rechstackers.
In order to
minimize the unexpected failures and avoid technical problems, 6 hours crane
maintenance will be introduced once a week from the 36. week.
Due to
planning reasons the works will take place on Wednesdays between 07:00 a.m –
01:00 p.m. During this period the service with crane will be suspended, so
within this time interval containers positioned under the crane track area
cannot be picked up.
Services
from other areas of the Terminal (drop off/pick up) are handled by our
reachstackers, road arriving drop offs, depot related traffics and all other
services are provided in this way.
Thank you
for your kind understanding and cooperation.
The above measure is valid until revoked.
Dear
Partners,
We are
pleased to inform you that in accordance with the planned schedule the removal
works of the damaged crane has been completed, the emergency situation has been
eliminated.
At the
same time the danger zone has been released, thus the containers in this area
have become accessible.
Following
the usual administration process with our Customer Service, the units can be
picked up.
Over the
next few days, with all the resources at our disposal, we will strive to
process the backlog of the accumulated traffic so far and produce a significant
improvement of the provided rail and road service as well.
Dear
Partners,
We would
like to inform you, that the crane removal works are already in their final
stages, we expect they to be completed over the weekend.
At the same
time due to the crane accident and probably the coming shortened working
week, the traffic at the terminal will be increased significantly.
We will do
our best to handle the increased service demand, we ask for your kind patience.
Thank you for your kind support.
Dear
Partners,
We would
like to inform you, that the crane removal works are in progress, so far
everything is going as planned.
According
to our preliminary expectations, the damaged crane will be completely
dismantled till the end of the week, thus the accident affected area – the so
called danger zone – will become available, the stuck containers will be
accessible within days.
At the same
time please note, that a significant volume of traffic has been accumulated,
which is handled with reinforced shifts, but takes time till the Terminal will
process this backlog.
We will
keep you updated.
We greatly
appreciate your kind cooperation and support.
Dear
Partners,
We would
like to inform you, that the crane removal work has started as planned. So far,
no event has occurred that would negatively affect the previously communicated.
According
to our expectations, the units stuck in the danger zone, will gradually become
accessible during this week.
We will
immediately notify our affected Partners in case of availability of these
containers.
We will keep you informed.
